Glass Replacement

Replace the Glass, Not Necessarily the Window

Foggy, cloudy, cracked, or broken window glass doesn’t always mean you need an entirely new window. In many cases, Wingspan can replace the glass while keeping the existing window frame, providing a practical and often more cost-effective alternative to a full window replacement.

Wingspan provides insulated and single-pane glass replacement for residential and commercial applications throughout southeastern Wisconsin.

What Is an Insulated Glass Unit?

An insulated glass unit (IGU) consists of two or more panes of glass sealed together with an insulating space between them. When that seal fails, moisture can get between the panes, resulting in the foggy or cloudy appearance commonly seen in older windows.

Rather than replacing the entire window, the failed glass unit can often be replaced while keeping the existing frame.

Glass Replacement Options

Depending on your existing window and application, Wingspan can provide:

  • Double-pane insulated glass
  • Triple-pane insulated glass
  • Low-E glass
  • Argon-filled insulated glass
  • Single-pane replacement glass
